Join Long of Chattanooga AutoMall as an Automotive Technician at our Long Honda of Albany location. We are seeking a skilled and motivated technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reputable dealership in Albany, GA, with competitive compensation ranging from $20.00 to $35.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs including oil changes, brake services, and tire rotations.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and software.
Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding needed repairs and vehicle status.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
ASE certification or equivalent preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment - alignment equipment
Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems.
Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
