Overview
nThe Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.
nThe pay for this position starts at $33.50 / hour. In addition, you can earn an additional $1 / hour for ASE certifications after the required minimum of 4 (up to 10 total, A1-A8, X1 & L1).
nThis position is located at our Fairbanks Service Center: 4960 Dale Rd Fairbanks, AK 99709

nResponsibilities
nWe are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
nnnEnsure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.
n
nnComplete required manufacturer's training and perform warranty and recall repairs.
n
nnComplete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.
n
nnMaintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
n
nnProvide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
n
nnComply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
n
nnUtilize multiple manufacturers' websites, software and diagnostic tools.
n
nnMay process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
n
nnMaintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
n
nnUpdate job knowledge by participating in company and manufacturer approved training or industry related training
n
nnFollow proper procedures to comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
n
nnRequires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
n
nnModerate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.
n
nnPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.

nQualifications
nnnTwo years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required
n
nn4+ current and valid ASE certifications required
n
nnDegree in Automotive Technology, Completion of Automotive Technical College or Technical vocational training preferred
n
nnUnderstanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus
n
nnMust have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 civil moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)
n
nnA minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required
n
nnMust be able understand, read, write, and speak English
n
nnMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
n
nnMust be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
