Job Title: Automotive Technician - Journeyman Diesel, Semi-Skilled & Apprentice
Location: Hawk Chevrolet Nissan Mercedes of Peru - Peru, IL

Busy Used Car Department = Steady Work
Our used car department sells about 80 vehicles a month , and every one of them comes through our shop for inspection and reconditioning before it hits the lot. We need techs to keep that flow moving, so there are plenty of hours and plenty of work.

Union Shop

Positions Available Journeyman Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician: Experienced, certified diesel technicians. Top pay for top talent.
Semi-Skilled Technician: Some tools and basic shop experience preferred. Maintenance, brakes, tires, used car reconditioning, and light repair, with room to grow.
Apprentice Technician: No experience required. We train you and pay for your certifications.
What You'll Do Diagnose, maintain, and repair Chevrolet, Mercedes-Benz, and Nissan vehicles
Inspect and recondition used vehicles for our pre-owned lot
Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs to factory standards
Document work clearly on repair orders
Work alongside experienced technicians and service advisors
Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We're Looking For A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
Valid driver's license
Journeyman: diesel experience and certifications (ASE a plus)
Semi-Skilled: some shop experience and your own basic tools
Apprentice: mechanical interest; no experience needed
