Job description
We are seeking a visionary Autonomous Network Architect to lead the transformation of next-generation telecom networks toward Level 4 Autonomous Networks . This is a strategic architecture leadership role focused on designing and implementing intent-driven, self-healing, AI-powered network operations that can analyze, decide, execute, verify, and continuously optimize with minimal human intervention.
You will define the enterprise-wide autonomous network strategy, architect closed-loop automation systems, and leverage Agentic AI, LLMs, Digital Twins, and advanced analytics to drive the future of telecom operations across RAN, Core, Transport, Cloud, and Edge domains.
What You'll Do
Autonomous Network Strategy & Architecture
Define the target-state Autonomous Network architecture and roadmap.
Drive TM Forum Autonomous Network (AN) Level 4 maturity initiatives.
Design Intent-Based Networking (IBN) and Zero-Touch Operations frameworks.
AI-Driven Network Automation
AI Agents
Knowledge Graphs
Implement self-healing and self-optimizing network capabilities.
Establish automated verification, rollback, and remediation mechanisms.
Create Digital Twin environments for simulation and decision validation.
Lead automation across:
Open RAN
5G Core
Transport Networks
Cloud-Native Infrastructure
Edge Networks
Design solutions utilizing:
Near-RT RIC
Non-RT RIC
NWDAF
Service Orchestration
Governance & Innovation
Define AI governance, guardrails, explainability, and risk controls.
Establish autonomy KPIs and operational metrics.
Represent the organization at TM Forum, ETSI, GSMA, and industry working groups.
Mentor engineering teams and develop reusable autonomous network accelerators.
Required Qualifications
Experience
12+ years of experience in Telecom Networking.
5+ years of experience in Network Automation, AIOps, or Autonomous Networks.
Proven experience delivering Intent-Based Networking or Closed-Loop Automation solutions.
Demonstrated architecture leadership in large-scale telecom environments.
