Job Details:
Job Title: Autonomous Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Corrections - Day Shift
Location: Troy, VA
Setting: Prison
Pay Range: -
Schedule: 08:00 - 16:30, Monday-Friday, No weekends or holidays
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Local or travel candidates
Requirements: Must be an autonomous NP (Can practice without MD supervision) and have active DEA. Must have primary care or corrections NP experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide primary care services in a correctional facility setting.
Practice autonomously, managing patient care independently.
Administer and manage medications as authorized with active DEA.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain documentation and compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
