AV Systems EngineerWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically robust AV Systems Engineer to serve as the critical technical anchor for our integration team. In this post-sales Project Engineer role, you will take approved sales concepts and turn them into fully engineered, deployment-ready realities. You will own the technical lifecycle of a project from the initial engineering handoff through final system commissioning, ensuring our field teams have exact, flawless documentation to build from.The ideal candidate possesses deep commercial audiovisual architecture knowledge, strong CAD drafting capabilities, and an unyielding commitment to signal-flow integrity and industry standards.ResponsibilitiesSystem Design & CAD Drafting: Translate post-sales scopes of work into comprehensive engineering packages. Create functional layout drawings, architectural elevations, structural mounting details, and end-to-end schematic signal-flow diagrams utilizing AutoCAD (or Revit)Technical Quality Control: Review sales designs for technical feasibility, calculate power consumption, BTU heat loads, and structural weight limits, and correct any hardware or signal gaps prior to procurementComponent Specification: Generate exact Bills of Materials (BOM) and collaborate with procurement teams to ensure correct hardware, cable types, and custom componentry is orderedCross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the technical liaison between sales, control system programmers, project managers, and client-side IT departments to resolve infrastructure and network security requirementsQualificationsExperience: 3–5+ years of dedicated engineering experience within the commercial AV systems integration industryCAD Mastery: High proficiency in AutoCAD with a proven portfolio of detailed AV line diagrams and rack layoutsBroad Hardware Knowledge: In-depth technical familiarity with enterprise AV ecosystems, including but not limited to: Video/UC Platforms: Crestron NVX, AMX /SVSI, Visionary Solutions, Extron NAV, Biamp, Q-SYS, Zoom Rooms, Teams RoomsAudio DSP: Q-SYS Designer, Biamp Tesira, BSSCommunication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical architectures into highly scannable, clean engineering documentationPreferred Certifications:AVIXA: CTS or CTS-D highly preferredManufacturer: Q-SYS Level 2, Crestron Core Track, or Dante Level 2/3What We Offer:22 Days PTO with Cash Out Options401K Program with matching contribution, day one!Employer-paid healthcare (multiple plan options available), Vision, Dental and Life benefitsPerformance bonus opportunitiesProfessional certification reimbursementContinuing education and manufacturer trainingOpportunities for career advancement within a growing AV Integration teamAs an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. #ind
