ABOC looking for AVP Loan Operations.This person is responsible for performing administrative, operational and system support for various commercial and consumer loan processes and providing functional supervision for departmental activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts monthly quality control audits to ensure all payments and loan bookings are processed within a timely manner and meet auditing, Bank policy, compliance and management guidelines.
Books commercial loans, processes commercial loan renewals and posts mortgage payments and advances properly within one business day of receipt.
Develops and maintains a sound working knowledge of Bank policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Assists Loan Operations Manager with department operations, unresolved issues, and documentation and implementation of all Loan Operations procedures and processes and recommends process improvement changes where applicable.
Oversees Loan Operations staff in functional capacity to ensure that work and customer service requests are completed on a timely basis and in accordance with established deadlines.
Ensures that all release documents are processed in an accurate and timely in accordance with Bank policy and procedures.
Acts as liaison to processors and systems personnel and provides quality and timely customer service to all Bank personnel concerning inquiries, problems, or projects.
Performs escrow analysis on all escrow accounts annually.
Functions as back-up for all loan operations personnel and their duties.
Responds to customer inquiries (via telephone, correspondence or in person) and resolves routine problems
Handle and approve internal transfers, payments, wires, and overdrafts in accordance to the delegation authority.
Identifies and update HMDA reportable and small business reportable loans in CRA WIZ
Review and evaluate reports for accuracy and ensure timely distribution of month end, quarter and year end reports to loan officers and Credit Manager. Timely is defined as two days of receipt of reports.
Review and scrutinize loan reconciliation and supporting records for assigned GL accounts.
Completes special projects as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field
Seven (7) years of commercial loan servicing experience which displays working knowledge of Loan Core system and knowledge of lending practices and procedures (required)
Competent Microsoft 365 Experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
