Mid Level AWS DevOps Engineer
Experience: 3–6 Years | Job Type: Full-Time | Location: Remote
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level AWS DevOps Engineer to join our technology team and support the design, automation, deployment, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and application environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, containers, monitoring, and automation .
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure on AWS .
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.
Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, and EKS .
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation .
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes .
Automate infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages .
Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana .
Implement cloud security, access controls, backup strategies, and best practices.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application-related issues.
Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with development and engineering teams to improve application reliability and deployment processes.
Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployments, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field .
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services .
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
Practical experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools .
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
Strong knowledge of Linux administration and networking fundamentals .
Experience with Git and version control workflows .
Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or similar languages .
Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator certification.
Experience with AWS EKS, ECS, Lambda, RDS, and serverless architectures .
Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration-management tools.
Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability platforms .
Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud cost-optimization strategies.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
