Job description:
We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Security Platform Engineer who bridges the gap between modern cloud infrastructure development and advanced cloud security posture management. Our organization operates a large-scale fleet of multi-tenant sandbox environments utilized by both internal employees and external partners.
We need an automation first engineer who can code robust deployment and lifecycle pipelines while establishing strict security guardrails. You will be responsible for building automated solutions, developing custom scripts, and leveraging Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC), Cloud Workload Protection Plans (CWPP), and advanced Azure Policies to ensure complete visibility, continuous compliance, and threat mitigation at scale.
Required Qualification & Hands-On Experiences:
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering and Security, with a dedicated focus on Microsoft Azure.
Strong Cloud Development Skills: Proven hands-on coding experience using Terraform or Bicep for Infrastructure as Code, paired with scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.
Deep Expertise in Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC) & CWPP: Hands-on implementation, tuning, and operational management of Defender for Cloud security recommendations, regulatory compliance standards, and Cloud Workload Protection Plans across enterprise workloads.
Advanced Azure Policy Engineering: Demonstrated experience writing custom JSON-based Azure Policy definitions, exemptions, and remediation tasks to enforce automated security guardrails. xqrzhdi
Mandatory Azure Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (Exam AZ-104)
Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (Exam SC-100) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Exam AZ-305)
