Build the dealer network behind America's best exhaust.
For nearly 30 years, Stainless Works has built performance headers and exhaust systems the hard way — made to order, by hand, from 304 stainless, right here in Ohio. Our product has a cult following. What we're missing is someone to go out and grow the shops, builders, and retailers who put it on cars.
That's this job. It's a hunter role: you'll wake up every day looking for the next great dealer to bring into the family, and you'll grow the ones we already have. If you know cars and you love the chase of a sale, keep reading.
What you'll do
Hunt. Find and activate new dealers — speed shops, performance and restomod builders, and online retailers — across the country. Competitor dealer locators, Instagram, forums, shows: if they sell performance exhaust, we want them selling ours.
Win back. Reconnect with shops that used to buy from us and bring them back.
Grow the book. Turn one-time buyers into loyal, repeat dealers by being the rep they trust and the brand they recommend.
Run a real pipeline. Work your accounts in HubSpot with discipline — prospect, qualify, first order, grow. No leads falling through the cracks.
Be the product expert. Help shops spec the right system, quote fast, and know why USA-made 304 stainless beats the cheap stuff.
What we're looking for
The rare combination that makes someone great at this:
You know cars. Real enthusiast or technical credibility — you can talk fitment, headers, and exhaust with a shop owner and earn respect. (Automotive aftermarket experience is a big plus.)
You can sell. You're a hunter, not an order-taker. You like reaching out, opening doors, and closing.
You're organized and coachable. You'll live in a CRM and own your numbers.
You're driven. Your income should grow with the business you build — and you want it to.
Bonus points for: performance exhaust or aftermarket sales experience, existing shop/builder relationships, and knowing your way around Mustangs, Camaros, Jeeps, trucks, or the LS-swap world.
What we offer
Base salary plus uncapped commission — you earn on the growth and the new accounts you bring in. Target $65K–$85K OTE (base ~$50K).
Health, dental, and vision — employer pays 75% of premiums.
