Medical AssistantDesert Sage OB/Gyn is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will provide medical services to patients under the guidance of a physician.The ideal person for this type of role is a good listener, outgoing and compassionate, organized and adaptable and an excellent problem solver. This vital role greets our patients, displays professionalism, and maintains confidentiality at all times.Responsibilities:Provide patient-care services – Room patients, reconcile medical and prescription history.Support Physicians - Perform minor patient care issues such as as immunizations, injections, assisting with minor surgeries.Other duties: – Answer phones, take messages and report test results and respond to patient care issues in conjunction with the physician.Requirements:Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environmentPrevious OB/Gyn experience is preferredAbout Desert Sage OB/Gyn:We are a fast paced practice with great staff and great patients.
