This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, supporting providers, and ensuring the clinical side of the office runs efficiently.You'll work closely with providers and the front office team to ensure patients receive attentive care while maintaining accurate documentation, clear communication, and a clean, professional clinical environment.The Back Office Assistant is an essential part of a busy medical practice, helping the team deliver an exceptional patient experience from check-in through treatment.Purpose of the RoleThe Ethos team supports the provider and clinical team with daily patient care and clinical administrative responsibilities.Your mission is to create an environment where:Patients feel welcomed, cared for, and respectedProviders can focus on delivering excellent patient careClinical tasks are completed accurately and efficientlyPatient records and documentation remain organized and up to dateThe back office remains clean, safe, and preparedThe entire team works together toward a common purposePatients receive the level of service and hospitality expected at EthosThis role combines patient care, clinical support, documentation, organization, communication, and teamwork.Create an Exceptional Patient ExperienceYou will help ensure that every patient interaction reflects the level of care and hospitality we want associated with Ethos.Responsibilities include:Welcome and assist patients in a professional and compassionate mannerPrepare patients for provider examinations and treatmentsObtain and document patient information accuratelyAssist providers during examinations and procedures as appropriateAnswer patient questions and communicate concerns to the appropriate team memberMaintain patient comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout the visitFollow established clinical workflows and office proceduresCommunicate clearly with providers, patients, and other team membersTeamwork & AccountabilityThe best patient experience comes from a team that works together.You will:Support providers and teammates throughout the workdayCommunicate professionally and respectfullyHelp teammates when neededTake ownership of assigned responsibilitiesRemain flexible in a fast-paced medical environmentContribute to a positive, team-first cultureMaintain professionalism even during complicated or challenging situationsWhat Success Looks LikeA successful Ethos Health Group Back Office Assistant doesn't simply complete tasks.They help create an office where:Patients feel cared for and comfortableProviders feel supported and preparedClinical responsibilities are completed accuratelyTeammates communicate and work togetherPatient information is handled with care and confidentialityProblems are identified and addressed proactivelyThe patient experience remains the priorityYou know you're succeeding when patients feel cared for, providers feel supported, and the office runs smoothly because you are part of the team.ScheduleEthos Health Group offices are open:Monday–Friday | 9:00 am - 6:15 pmBased in our Ocala, FL office, and will be flexible to help in Ocala or Gainesville as needed. Must have reliable transportationSchedule and coverage requirements may vary based on office and operational needs.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious medical office or healthcare experience preferredStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to maintain patient confidentialityProfessional demeanor and exceptional customer-service skillsComfortable using computers, EHR systems, and office technologyAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work as part of a supportive, team-first environmentWillingness to learn and follow clinical and company proceduresPreferredExperience working in a medical or clinical environmentMonday- Friday 9:00- 6:15 PM Ocala and Gainesville Locations
