Job description
Back Up Plating Tech - 2nd ShiftPerform all phases of plating, cleaning and wastewater pretreatment operation following standardized methods and procedures. Perform all duties necessary to the efficient operation of all equipment in the plating department.Responsibilities:Continue to keep current in skills through training, classes and on the job trainingFollow plating cycle and prescribed cleaning procedures to obtain proper finishesPerform analyzing procedures with laboratory test equipment to maintain adequate solution levels to achieve proper plating, cleaning, and waste water pretreatmentResponsible for setting up and operating all machinery and equipment used to clean and plate productsMaintain records, charts, procedures, work move tickets, labor reporting, and S.P.C. recordingBe familiar with all systems, procedures, and plating techniques within the departmentPerform all material handling within the departmentQualifications:High school diploma or GED3 - 5 years of plating experienceGood verbal and interpersonal communication skillsGood math, reading and writing skillsBasic computer skills
