Job description

Apply your backend engineering expertise to help advance AI research through future remote contract projects with leading AI labs and companies. This is an open application to join a talent network, not a single currently defined role.

Role Overview Qualified network members may be matched to backend engineering opportunities that align with their background, interests, availability, and project needs. Opportunities are introduced on a rolling basis as projects become available.

Key Responsibilities Train and evaluate AI models in backend engineering.

Create tasks and deliverables grounded in real-world backend engineering scenarios.

Provide domain-specific feedback that supports frontier AI research.

Qualifications Professional experience with API development and microservices.

Experience with database architecture and optimization.

Experience with distributed systems.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Work Terms Remote, hourly contract opportunities.

Typical project commitments range from 15 to 30 hours per week.

Project scope and duration vary.

Compensation $70 to $150 per hour.
