Job description
Google is seeking a Backend Tech Lead for the Unified Commerce Platform (UCP) to scale core serving infrastructure and define schemas for agent-to-merchant interactions. You will architect backend foundations, mentor engineers, and ensure reliable, low-latency, globally accessible services.
You will work across projects critical to Google’s commerce initiatives, enabling AI agents and merchants to securely transact, with opportunities to drive expansion into new markets and verticals.
