ICU Position at Parkridge East Hospital
Hospital: Parkridge East Hospital
Location: 941 Spring Creek Road, Chattanooga, TN 37412 - Unit Name: ICU
Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: 9
Patient Ratios: 2:1 and 3:1
Unit staffing description: All RN staff
Type of equipment: Ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, GE monitors
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: Self scheduling with manager oversight including 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule
Floating policy: All staff (including Travel RNs) are required to float as needed for critical staffing needs in Med-Surg or ED.
Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, BSSR (Bedside shift report), Press Ganey goals >75%
Hospital Specifics:
Certifications: Chest Pain Center, Stroke Accreditation
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: ICU experience (>2 years), Teamwork skills, New Grad RN support
Advanced skills needed: Ventilator, IV Drip titration, Arterial Line management
Procedures performed on unit: Intubation, Central Line insertions, Art Line insertions
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
