Service Areas
Bainbridge, Silverdale, Poulsbo
Responsibilities
Provide face‑to‑face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
Appropriately diagnose DSM‑V disorders and develop treatment plans.
Apply appropriate medical decision‑making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non‑pharmacological treatments.
Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
Job Type
Full‑time or part‑time available.
W2 billable hourly or 1099 independent contractor rates. As a provider with BHS, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, days of the week preferred.
Requirements
Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possess a DEA).
Possession of malpractice insurance if independent contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees).
1 year of geriatric psych experience.
1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or acute rehab hospitals.
Skills
Basic computer knowledge.
Experience with EMR/EHR systems (AthenaIC, a plus).
Excellent written communication.
Attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus!

Pay
$150,000 – $210,000 depending on license, caseload, and pay model.
W2 and independent contractor options available. Compensation is determined based on the pay model preferred, experience, and licensure.
