Job description
BakerThe Baker prepares food that meets current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations by following established policies and procedures and ensures that safe and high quality food service is provided at all times. He or she prepares dough, bakes rolls, bread and prepares pizza dough. Also portion foods in preparation for baking. As well as some food prep.The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and one year prior experience in a food service setting. Additional culinary training/coursework highly desired. He or she must be committed to the customers, reliable to his or her co-workers, and be a self-motivated, organized, and detailed individual. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.Compensation depends upon skills and experience.Responsibilities:Sets up the restaurant with fresh bread and pizza dough for servicePrepares and bakes several different itemsPrepares baked goodsCleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparationFollows safety and sanitation rules and practicesRestocks food supplies and takes inventory when requiredQualifications:High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma requiredOne year of relevant experienceFormal culinary training a plusExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenAble to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as neededAble to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidaysBenefits:Meal Discount
