Baker – Le Supreme DetroitLe Supreme is a modern French brasserie located inside The Perennial in Detroit's historic Book Tower. The restaurant blends timeless Parisian elegance with Detroit's creative energy, offering an elevated yet welcoming dining experience. Guests enjoy classic brasserie dishes, a curated wine list, and a cocktail program rooted in technique, balance, and seasonality.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts according to established recipes and standardsExecute classic French techniques with consistency, precision, and attention to detailMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient bakery workspaceMonitor ingredient quality, freshness, and inventory levelsAssist with recipe development, seasonal offerings, and menu updatesEnsure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all baked goods and ingredientsCollaborate with the culinary team to support service needs and production timelinesUphold all safety, sanitation, and food-handling standardsQualifications1–2 years of professional baking or pastry experience (French or artisanal baking preferred)Strong understanding of baking fundamentals, dough handling, and pastry techniquesAbility to follow recipes with precision while maintaining speed and efficiencyExcellent time-management and organizational skillsPassion for craftsmanship, quality, and hospitalityAbility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as neededPositive attitude and a collaborative, team-oriented mindsetWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly payOpportunities for growth within a dynamic hospitality groupA collaborative, design-driven work environmentEmployee dining perks across Method Co.
