Job description
Bakery ManagerLooking for a confident, self-motivated candidate to manage a in-store bakery for Super One Foods. To be successful in this position previous scratch and bake-off production baking experience is required. The desire and ability to lead others to provide consistent and quality product. Strong customer service and communication skills a must.Basic duties to include but not limited to:Develop effective daily/weekly work plan based on weekly sales projections, budgeted labor goals and previous operating resultsPlan and execute, aggressive and creative merchandising plans to maximize sales, variety and gross profit,Ensure accurate pricing and signage within the departmentSupervise bakery associates to ensure production objectives are metManage bakery receiving, invoicing, pricing, shrink control and inventory to ensure proper product control and that gross profit goals are metTrain and develop bakery department personnelSupervise department safety and sanitation programsPerform bakery department personnel functionsFollow all store and department policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned or delegatedJob Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.Shifts for this position vary but are mostly overnight to early morning shifts.Must be 18 years of age.Knowledge of food preparation procedures and food safety regulationsJudgment/decision makingSocial skills/verbal interactionReading, writing, and mathModerate to heavy lifting and walkingThis position also offers the opportunity for many outstanding benefits including health insurance, pension, 401k, paid time off, along with other elective benefits.Advancement opportunities are available for employees that are successful and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability and desire to learn.Shifts for this position vary but are mostly overnight to early morning shiftsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
