Bakery Plant WorkerSchnucks Bakery Plant is now hiring bakery plant workers in various areas including production line workers, sanitation and shipping. Hours for these roles vary by position.The Schnucks Bakery Plant is located at 8590 Page Ave, St Louis, MO 63114.The position of the bakery plant worker may include any of the following:Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the jobPreparing breads, cakes, donuts and other pastries, including icings and frostings, according to established recipesPackaging fresh-baked productsOperating mixers, bread slicer, ovens and proof boxesConstantly cleaning work area and equipment following company safety and sanitation guidelinesMoving and cleaning heavy equipmentCleaning floorsLoading and unloading deliveriesHandling and shipping bakery productsSafely lifting and bending when loading product on truckOther duties may be assigned at the discretion of supervisor/managementTraining will be provided at facility level.Physical demands include:BendingStoopingMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to work in an environment with varying temperature (-10 to 100+ degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the position)Working on feet entire shift (8-10 hours)Additional requirements for internal candidates:Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.Schnucks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
