Quality Control And Returns Team MemberDo you like staying busy all day and working independently? Jordan's Furniture is looking for a team player to work in our busy QC and Returns departments. This position is located in Taunton, MA and the hours of this position are: Tuesday - Saturday; 11:30 am - 8:00 pm.Pay Range: $18.00 per hour with a $2.00 shift differential. We share our pay range because transparency matters. Because great energy fuels great work.What we trust you to do:Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor/baler area and maintains a clean work area.Separates recyclable material from trash.Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material.Loads/unloads Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers.Handles, repackages, and moves returned merchandiseSorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department's daily operationsAssist with the overall cleanliness of the DC by ensuring floor is clear of recycling debrisUses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standardsAny other function or responsibility as assigned by the SupervisorWhat you bring to the table:0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experienceMust be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs.Must be certified through company Crown Lift Training Program to safely operate forklift and Pallet Jack equipmentMust be able to read and communicate effectively in EnglishJordan's Furniture is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#IND
