Job description
Baler OperatorTend machines that shred and/or compresses and binds paper by-products generated from the print manufacturing process to facilitate disposition of the waste materialsThread tie bands around bale and twists or clamps ends of bands to tighten bandsOpens compression chamber doors and removes bale from machineTruck bales to storage location using air lifts, pallet jacks or hoist trucksComplete daily forklift condition reportWeight the bales and keep records of the gross weight, materials grade of the balesPerform routine maintenance on the baling machinery and remove obstructions in the cyclone as neededMay load bales on trucks, rail cars for disposal and complete shipping manifestMay photograph container and seal for verification purposesAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $17.00 - $22.67 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
