Job description
The Ballast Water Vessel Inspector role with the State of Washington's WDFW is a full-time position based in Ridgefield, WA. You will perform onboard inspections of arriving commercial vessels to ensure ballast water management compliance and protect aquatic ecosystems.
Responsibilities include risk-based inspections, regulatory actions, interagency coordination, and field work across port environments while supporting environmental regulation and enforcement efforts.
