Band And Orchestra Operations SpecialistSweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and musical instruments is seeking to hire Band and Orchestra Operations Specialists to add to our growing Band and Orchestra team. In this role, an Operations Specialist will support the rental, repair, and inspection teams, move and label inventory, clean and grade rental instruments, pack and ship rental instruments, and assist with the daily operations of our dynamic and growing Band and Orchestra department.Responsibilities:Move inventory according to proper inventory control proceduresFulfill rental instrument contracts including navigating the rental software, cleaning instruments and instrument cases, adding accessories to instrument cases, packing and shipping rental instruments, and receiving and processing rental returns.Supply work to inspection and repair teams in an organized and efficient mannerOther duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications:Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment a plusExperience playing at least one wind or orchestral string instrumentAbility to work safely in a warehouse environment and use non-powered equipment including pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucksAbility to lift, push, and pull instrument cases and boxes up to 75 poundsAbility to work while sitting or standing for long periods of timeAbility to work under pressure while maintaining patience and a positive attitudeAdept at multi-tasking and time managementAbility to thrive on changeSweetwater "Ideal" Team-Player:WOWs The Customer - Deep passion and desire for creating amazing customer & colleague experiencesGets Things Done - Great work ethic and moves with a sense of urgencyObsesses over the Details – committed to paying attention to the detailsDrives Continuous Improvement – Always focusing on effective and efficient work and ways to get betterDevelops the Future – committed to pursuit of growing personally & professionally and has a focus on bringing your colleagues along with you on that journeyWe function best as a unified team, so relocation to our state-of-the-art campus in Fort Wayne, IN is required.
