An excellent opportunity for a Banking & Finance Associate to join a highly regarded national law firm in Charlotte.
The team advises lenders, borrowers and financial institutions across a broad range of sophisticated financing transactions, including commercial lending, leveraged finance, fund finance and structured finance.
The Role
Advising lenders and borrowers on a range of banking and finance transactions
Supporting commercial lending, acquisition finance and leveraged finance matters
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating loan agreements, credit agreements and related financing documentation
Assisting with secured and unsecured lending transactions
Conducting due diligence and supporting transaction structuring and execution
Coordinating with clients, opposing counsel and other advisers throughout the transaction process
Taking responsibility for discrete workstreams and managing multiple transactions simultaneously
Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's wider corporate and finance practices
Candidate Profile
2+ years' experience in banking, finance or related transactional practices
Experience with commercial lending, credit facilities or other debt financing transactions
Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers preferred
Experience in banking and finance, commercial lending, leveraged finance, fund finance, structured finance or related debt financing transactions will be considered. xhqgsiq
Strong drafting, negotiation and transactional skills
Experience at a leading national or international firm preferred, although strong candidates from regional or mid-sized practices will also be considered
Comfortable managing competing deadlines and taking ownership of matters
Commercially minded, organised and able to work effectively within a team
Strong academic and professional credentials
North Carolina Bar admission preferred
