Responsibilities:
Lead and grow a bankruptcy and financial restructuring practice within the Boston market.
Advise clients on Chapter 11 reorganisations, Chapter 7 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
Represent secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, trustees, committees and financial institutions in complex insolvency matters.
Handle bankruptcy litigation, distressed acquisitions and Section 363 sales.
Counsel clients on workouts, debt restructurings, insolvency risk management and creditor rights.
Develop and strengthen client relationships while generating new business opportunities.
Contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of the firm's national restructuring practice.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Massachusetts Bar, or ability to obtain admission.
Significant experience handling sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency matters.
Demonstrated portable book of business.
Strong experience representing debtors, creditors, lenders, trustees or committees in complex restructurings and bankruptcy litigation.
Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to mentoring junior attorneys.
