What You'll Do as a Banquet Cook:
Prepare Exceptional Cuisine: Skillfully prepare and cook menu items to exact standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
Maintain a Top-Notch Kitchen: Keep your station clean, organized, and efficient, upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Be a Team Player: Assist fellow cooks and kitchen staff in achieving seamless service during events, fostering a positive and high-energy work environment.
Learn and Grow: Stay on top of food trends and bring creative ideas to enhance our culinary offerings.
Support Training Efforts: Help train new and existing kitchen staff in techniques and kitchen best practices.
Requirements: What We're Looking For:
Experience Matters: At least 2 years of experience in a professional culinary setting.
Certifications: Must be ready to obtain an Idaho Food Handlers Permit (available online for free) or already hold a ServSafe certification.
Culinary Skills: Strong knife skills, familiarity with kitchen equipment, and a deep understanding of food safety in high-volume environments.
Team-Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service in a collaborative setting.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, handle kitchen equipment safely, and withstand hot and busy kitchen conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
