Banquet Houseperson
Shift: Varied
Days Off: Varied
$16.50/hour Get paid when you need it – daily, weekly or biweekly!
$27.00-$29.00/hour including tips tips are not guaranteed
You might be the missing puzzle piece of our team! It's all in the details when you are part of the Banquet team. Prairie Meadows prides itself on its numerous events — big and small — and as a Banquet Houseperson, you'll be a vital part of our success.
Here's what you'd be responsible for:
Setup and teardown of all events.
Reading and understanding banquet event instructions
Arranging furniture and setting up equipment per event instructions
Reviewing upcoming events and preparing required equipment and furniture needs
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous banquet set up experience preferred. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, as well as read and comprehend event set-up diagrams. Customer service skills relating to both internal and external guests are required. Must be able to tolerate standing, walking, and moving furniture for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and push/pull a cart weighing up to 150 lbs. is required. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, twist and grip objects, kneel, crawl, and differentiate colors. Weekend, holiday, and varied hours may apply.
