Job description
Keep BAS Projects Moving—and Customers in the Loop BAS Project Coordinator | Richmond, VA | $75,000–$95,000
Keep BAS projects moving—and customers confident at every step.
Our client is looking for a strong coordinator to support multiple Building Automation Systems projects from sales turnover through closeout. You’ll be the customer’s day-to-day project contact, bringing Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Service, and Installation together to keep schedules, decisions, and next steps on track.
You don’t need to be a BAS engineer. We’re looking for someone who’s organized, communicates well, follows through, and can learn the systems and project flow. BAS project experience is a must, and experience in mechanical, HVAC, electrical, or construction projects is helpful.
What you’ll do:
Coordinate project schedules, meetings, site access, commissioning, training, and closeout
Keep action items, project records, purchase orders, and WIP reviews up to date
Communicate with customers and coordinate across internal teams, vendors, and trades
Help manage scope, change orders, and project costs, escalating concerns when needed
Support installation readiness and follow open items through resolution
What you bring:
Strong organization, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
The ability to manage several projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities
Practical familiarity with BAS terminology and project documents—or the ability to learn
Comfort using email, Microsoft Office, Teams, and project-tracking tools
What our client offers:
$75,000–$95,000 salary
401(k) with company match
PTO and paid holidays
Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits
Employee Assistance Program
Career development and referral incentives
Our client is a full-service MEP contractor with more than 50 years of experience supporting commercial customers across construction, service, industrial refrigeration, and manufacturing.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role. Occasional evening or weekend work and unscheduled overtime may be required. The position involves a mix of office, customer-site, and construction-jobsite work, including occasional work at heights and in mechanical or outdoor environments.
