Job description
Sorter PositionWith Staff Management | SMX, you'll get a weekly paycheck, learn new skills, meet new people, and work with a great management team in a clean and safe environment. The Sorter is responsible for working alongside a team to inspect product pouches for quality standards. We are hiring for multiple shifts that rotate weekly. You must have a flexible schedule to work all hours needed.Perks & Benefits: Weekly paychecks, Direct Deposit or Cash Card pay options, Medical / Dental Insurance.Shifts: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, Rotating Shifts, All Shifts. Employment Types: Full Time, Temporary or Contract. Pay Rate: $15.00 / hour.Duties: The Sorter will be opening pouches, checking for proper top seals and accurate date codes, and removing any defective or non-conforming items from the production line. Perform inspections. Check and confirm the quality of product is up to standard. Keeping area clean and orderly as shift progresses. Any other duties assigned by the supervisor as required.Position Requirements: The role requires the following - Attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the shift. Flexible schedule. Ability to wear all required PPE in a food production environment. Steel toed shoes/boots required.Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old. Required education: HS Diploma or GED.
