We're hiring a Batch Mixer Operator for a manufacturing team in Maple Grove that produces innovative adhesive products used in flexible and rigid packaging applications. Whether you've worked in manufacturing, machine operation, extrusion, automotive repair, or a similar environment, this role offers long term stability, competitive pay, and clear opportunities for advancement.Schedule & PayWill start on 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PMYou will transition to 3rd Shift later this fall: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AMMust be available for weekend work as part of a rotating scheduleStarting pay: $21.50 to $22.50 per hourThis is a Temporary to Permanent opportunity! Upon permanent hire you will be eligible for benefits including:Pay increases to $23.00 to $24.50 per hourMedical, dental, vision benefits, 401K, Paid Time Off, holidays, and moreQuarterly performance and company bonus opportunitiesFree uniforms$150 steel toe boot allowance every quarterLong term career growth and advancement opportunitiesWhat You'll Be DoingOperate and monitor batch mixing equipment used in the production processLoad raw materials into mixing systems and program production parameters through a computer interfaceWork closely with a partner to safely run the batch mixing operationPerform quality checks and ensure products meet specificationsAssist with material movement and production support activitiesTrain on stand up reach trucks and sit down forklifts and become certifiedTroubleshoot equipment issues and help keep production running efficientlyLearn extrusion operations with the opportunity to move into Extrusion Operator responsibilities after trainingPerform extrusion equipment setups, changeovers, and teardowns as skills progressWhat We're Looking ForPrevious manufacturing or machine operating experience preferredMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityExperience using tools such as wrenches and other shop equipmentAutomotive repair experience or a strong interest in mechanical work is highly valuedAbility to follow production procedures and work safelyComfortable lifting materials and working in an active production environmentForklift experience is a plus, but training will be providedExtrusion manufacturing experience is highly preferredWhat happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
