Job description
QuantumScape in San Jose, CA is seeking a Firmware Engineer to own the battery management firmware for our high‑power battery packs. You will build a bare‑metal/RTOS platform, define MCU pinouts, implement protection and power sequencing, and ensure low‑power operation across modes.
You will also develop SOC/SOH estimation algorithms, write drivers for ADC, PWM and UART, collaborate with hardware and ODM partners, and create validation and regression test plans for reliable performance.
