Overview
Bristol Regional Medical Center (BRMC), a member of Ballad Health, is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Neurohospitalist for an inpatient-only opportunity. BRMC, a 312-bed Level 3 trauma center located in Bristol, Tennessee, is a primary stroke center. This role’s primary location will be BRMC but will require some responsibilities at Holston Valley Medical Center (HVMC) in Kingsport, Tennessee and Johnson City Medical Center (JCMC) in Johnson City, Tennessee which are each located 15 miles from Bristol.

Average patient volume: 12-15 patients (including consults)
Epic EMR – health system-wide
Physician extender (NP) support
This position covers inpatient stroke and general neurology, including consults in the intensive care unit, general medical floor, and the emergency room and reading routine and prolonged EEGs.

While the State of Tennessee has recently enacted legislation regarding the licensure of International Medical Graduates, this law applies exclusively to institutions with Tennessee‑based ACGME‑accredited residency programs.
