Job description
BCP Sales & Financing CoordinatorThe BCP Sales & Financing Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the dealership's sales team and Caterpillar Finance related to equipment financing.Essential functions include working directly with Sales Representatives and Caterpillar Financial on financed machine packages, processing quotes through CapitalStream, submitting quotes to CAT Finance for credit approval, coordinating with Caterpillar Finance credit analysts, reviewing and submitting finance documents to CAT Finance, preparing documentation to include in the loan package, monitoring all CAT finance quotes, credit submissions, and funding, supporting the Participation process, and maintaining support claims of all Building Construction Products (BCP).Other duties and responsibilities include supporting the Sales Department by answering telephones and assisting walk-in customers, ensuring accurate delivery reporting on all Sales, Rental and Machine Demos, assisting Department Management with additional projects, accurately tracking and reporting on machines and other performance metrics aligned with Sales Department initiatives, and cross training with other areas in the Sales Department to assist where needed.Qualifications/knowledge/skill/ability include the ability to read, write and understand English, the ability to listen and follow instructions, the ability to type, use a computer, and have basic knowledge of copy and fax machines, understanding intermediate math, and telecommunications skills to report results to salesmen and management.Education or formal training includes a minimum High School graduate or equivalent, post High School education preferred, basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles, and training or experience with Excel.Experience includes keyboard, telephone skills, knowledge of PC and mainframe computers, operating copy, fax machines, and general office equipment, experience with Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel, experience in project development & completion, and willingness to make suggestions to management team.Physical/environmental requirements include an office environment requiring professional dress and appearance, primarily involved in office activities, sit and or stand 6-8 hours per day, be prepared to work longer than normal days, use hands and feet for fine manipulation, and lift 20 – 40 pounds.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
