(excludes PRN Staff; Attendance and Performance considered)Texas HCS Inc. is now hiring Day Program Caregiver staff positions in the Beaumont area to provide personal care of individuals with developmental disabilities in an adult day activity setting. The ideal candidate would have Caregiving, Direct Support and/ or Direct Care, C.N.A. or Home Health experience. To support our population of individuals one must be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations.On-the-job training is provided!Shift: Monday – FridayHours : 8:00AM – 4:00PMDay Program Caregiver Duties include:General supervision and monitoring of individuals served.Teaching specialized training objectives to acquire independent living skills.Assistance with grooming and toiletingSupervision and assistance during mealsSupervision during recreational activitiesFacility house cleaningDriving company vehiclesCommunication with co-workers and office staffSpecialized documentationBenefits:Health Insurance (after 90 days)401K (after 1 year)Vacation (2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years)QualificationsQualifications:Valid and current Texas Driver's LicenseClear Background CheckClear DMV CheckHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of EducationNo confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled personNo history of Medicaid fraud.
