Volunteer as a Counselor with YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley!
Eliminate Racism. Empower Women.
People of all genders & sexual orientations experience violence. Are you a caring, passionate, and talented individual with a desire to help eliminate racism and empower others? Together we can achieve equity & justice for all! Please apply to join our team of Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence/Human Trafficking Counselors!

They answer calls to our Support Line, accompany individuals to hospitals, courts, and community locations, and provide information, advocacy and referral services. They conduct in-person counseling and co-facilitate groups for children. Their participation helps make it possible for survivors of all kinds, children, and families to flourish.
Bilingual Spanish-English speaking volunteers are in high need at the moment and will have their training fee waived with a minimum volunteering commitment of 100-200 hours (varies by program).
