Beef Modernization SorterPosition at JBS USAJob description: A Beef Modernization Sorter must have strong observational abilities while performing precision knife cuts so they may make correct decisions related to pathology, presentation or possible sanitary dressing deficiencies. Beef Modernization Sorters work in a high-paced environment and must understand Food Safety and Quality are their primary responsibility. Beef Modernization Sorters undergo intensive and recurring training and must be willing to train/educate others.Requirements:Harvest floor knife experienceAbility to sharpen a knife and maintain a sharp knifeWillingness to learn anatomy, physiology and pathological disease processesExcellent communication skillsMust be detail oriented and disciplinedInterested in work that challenges you mentallyAbility to lift, push, and pull product repetitivelyWork effectively in a TEAM atmosphereAll other duties as assignedBeef Modernization Sorters work closely with many different harvest floor departments including USDA-FSIS Consumer Safety Inspectors.
