Job description
Behavior Clinician
Make a meaningful impact through clinical work that puts people first. We believe that effective support starts with understanding the whole person—an approach you'll find at the heart of this role.
As a behavior clinician, you'll provide person-centered, evidence-based clinical and behavioral support to adults with developmental disabilities and brain injuries. You'll work closely with individuals, families, direct support staff, and interdisciplinary teams to understand needs, build on strengths, address challenges, and help people achieve greater independence and quality of life.
You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while using your clinical expertise in practical, impactful ways—developing Positive Behavior Support Plans, using data to guide treatment, providing consultation and coaching, and helping teams create environments where the people we support can thrive.
This role offers a balance of autonomy and collaboration, with the flexibility to manage your own schedule while being part of a knowledgeable and supportive clinical team. You'll have opportunities to expand your expertise, contribute your ideas, and make a difference across a variety of settings.
At Advocates, this is more than a clinical position. It's an opportunity to use your skills to help people live with dignity, choice, confidence, and inclusion—while doing work that has a lasting impact.
At Advocates, we provide comprehensive services for people facing developmental, mental health, or other life challenges.
We're a nonprofit, mission-driven organization with a person-centered approach, empowering the individuals we support to make choices, build independence, and live full, meaningful lives. At Advocates, we value the ideas, experiences, and contributions of employees and are committed to fostering a supportive, welcoming culture where everyone can grow and thrive.
