Behavior Support Staff
Join Our Day Program for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
POSITION:
Behavior Support Staff (JOB TITLE: Specialized Direct Support Professional) for Adult Day Program
DAYS & HOURS:
Mondays - Fridays
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Additional Days & Hours (Optional) - Independent Living Services 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturdays 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
LOCATION:
North Hollywood and Surrounding Community (San Fernando Valley)
RATE of PAY:
Starting at $22.00 per hour

Details:
Must be experienced in this field with Behaviors expertise. Seeking applicants who are kind, patient, and adaptable; someone who is personable and would be motivated to help participant pursue their goals and interests. Looking to hire staff who enjoy physical activity (especially walking and basketball); a DSP who is comfortable learning to communicate with someone who is non-verbal.
You Must Answer YES to ALL of the Following:
Are you available Mondays - Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.?
Are you at least 21 years of age?
Are you a licensed driver (for a minimum of three years)?
Do you have your own insured vehicle (with your name listed on the proof of insurance as an authorized driver)?
Are you willing to commute to the North Hollywood area (and surrounding communities)?
Are you willing to drive your personal vehicle with a client? (Mileage reimbursement provided at current California rate)
Are you willing to drive a COMPANY VAN on the job with multiple clients?
Are you available for 3-to-10 days of in-office training at ETTA offices in North Hollywood (Mondays - Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. / half days may be possible upon request)?
