nEXPERIENCE WITH MALADAPTIVE BEHAVIORS HIGHLY PREFERRED

nWe offer an intense 40 hour PAID training program to become a Behavior Technician where you will learn how to implement Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician (RBT) will use ABA techniques to encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones through teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

n nResponsibilities

nThe Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

nRESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

nWorks 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.

nEnsures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.

nUpdates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.

nCommunicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).

nComplies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.

nPerforms other related duties as required.

nQualifications

n18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.

nPassion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.

nMinimum 1 year working with children.

nReliable transportation.

nCompletion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.

nWillingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

nPosted Salary Range

nUSD $17.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
