Behavior Technician (BT) - Chantilly, Virginia

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team! This position involves working one-on-one with a client to support skill development, communication, and independence using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
As an BT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, track progress, and support the development of essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured and encouraging environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Implementing individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
Collecting and recording accurate session data
Supporting skill development and behavior-reduction goals
Maintaining professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families
Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education
Qualifications include:
Current RBT Certification (preferred)
Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)
