Behavior Technician - BT - Full-Time
ABA Centers of Florida
Broward County (Sunny Isles, Hollywood, Miramar)
Miami Dade County (Kendall, South Miami, Homestead)
*Required availability: Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 8:00 PM; potential Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Starting rate of $19.35/hour for BTs
Starting rate of $21.40/hour for RBTs
Final compensation will be determined by a candidate’s experience, training, and educational credentials*

What You’ll Do
Support individuals with autism in the home, in the community, or in one of our new centers
Teach daily living skills and social skills using effective behavior and evidence-based treatments
Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions
Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client's needs
Performs other clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support operations
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review
NJ candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.
Position-Specific
Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Preferred
Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
Experience working with children or adolescents
Prior exposure to ABA services
