nBehavior Technician | $500 Sign-On Bonus
nNorthway Academy – Duluth, MN

Experience supporting a child or family member with autism is also valued. No prior ABA experience is required, we provide comprehensive training. nShifts Available (Monday-Friday)
nFull-Time: 730am-330pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm
nPart-Time: 8am-12pm, 12pm-5pm

nWhat You’ll Do:
nnnSupport children with autism through early intervention programs
n
nnImplement therapy plans and behavior strategies
n
nnTeach skills for communication, self-care, and social interaction
n
nnHelp manage behaviors and support transitions to school settings
n
n nQualifications ( must meet one from Level 1 or Level 2 ):
nLevel 1 ($21–$22/hr):
nnnCurrently enrolled in a graduate program in a mental health discipline or hold a master’s degree in a mental health field
n
nnObtained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields and have 6,000 hours of paid/clinical experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services
n
n nLevel 2 ($19–$20/hr):
nnnEnrolled in OR hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy)
n
nnHold an associate’s degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy) and at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (including but not limited to experience as a DSP, PCA, Paraprofessional)
n
nnPossess a high school diploma (or GED) and have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (equivalent to 2 years of full-time experience, including but not limited to experience as a DSP, PCA, Paraprofessional)
n
nnFluent in a non-English speaking language or certified by a tribal nation
