Behavior Technician
Paid Training | $21–$25/hour | In-Home ABA Services | Brooklyn, NY
Vibrant ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one, in-home ABA therapy to children with autism throughout Brooklyn, NY. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact in a child’s life while receiving ongoing training, clinical support, and a flexible schedule that works around your availability.

About the Role
As a BT/RBT, you will work directly with children in their homes, implementing individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA. You’ll help build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills while partnering with families and receiving ongoing supervision and support from our clinical team.

What You’ll Do
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children in home-based settings
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
Support children in building communication, behavior, play, and daily living skills
Collect session data and document client progress accurately
Communicate regularly with supervisors, caregivers, and the clinical team
Maintain a consistent and reliable therapy schedule
Participate in training, feedback, and ongoing professional development
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children preferred
(ABA, childcare, education, paraprofessional work, psychology, healthcare, camp counseling, or related experience is a plus)
Compassionate, patient, dependable, and eager to learn
Comfortable working in home-based settings with families
Strong communication and time management skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to travel locally to client homes in Brooklyn
After-school and/or weekend availability preferred
RBT Candidates Encouraged to Apply
We are actively seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and also welcome candidates who are interested in becoming certified.
RBT credential preferred, but not required to apply
Paid training and onboarding provided
Support available toward RBT certification
Ongoing supervision and clinical guidance from experienced BCBAs
Compensation & Benefits
$21–$25/hour, based on experience and credentials
