nRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT)

nIn home Services: 3-7pm

nButterfly Effects' Mission is to make a socially significant change in the lives of children and families by hiring passionate, caring people to serve children and families affected by autism.

nWe are seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians, both entry-level and experienced, to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. Join us in collaborating with families to execute ABA-based behavior intervention plans.

n nWhat Do You Bring to the Role?

nnEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.

nCertification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.

nPassion for Children: A genuine love for working with children.

nPositive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.

nExperience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.

nContinuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development.

nTransportation: Valid driver's license & personal vehicle.

nDevices: Must have a Tablet or Laptop computer to use during sessions (not just a smart phone).

n nWhat Would You Be Doing?

nnImplements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).

nObserves, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.

nManages challenging behaviors.

nApply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.

nAssists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.

nCommunicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.

nFunctions as an active member of the treatment team.

nCompletes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.

nActively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.

nMaintains confidentiality of client information.

nFollows BE policies and procedures.

nPhysical Requirements:

nThis role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
