nBehavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
nIn home services: Weekdays 3-7pm
nButterfly Effects' Mission is to make a socially significant change in the lives of children and families by hiring passionate, caring people to serve children and families affected by autism.
nWe are seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians, both entry-level and experienced, to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. n nWhat Do You Bring to the Role?
nnnEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.
n
nnCertification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
n
nnPassion for Children: A genuine love for working with children.
n
nnPositive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
n
nnExperience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.
n
nnContinuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development.
n
nnTransportation: Valid driver's license & personal vehicle.
n
nnDevices: Must have a Tablet or Laptop computer to use during sessions (not just a smart phone).

n nWhat Would You Be Doing?
nnnImplements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
n
nnObserves, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
n
nnManages challenging behaviors.
n
nnApply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
n
nnAssists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
n
nnCommunicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
n
nnFunctions as an active member of the treatment team.
n
nnCompletes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
n
nnActively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
n
nnMaintains confidentiality of client information.
n
nnFollows BE policies and procedures.

nPhysical Requirements:
nThis role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
