Job description
Part-Time | In-Home ABA
nImmediate cases available.
nAlpha & Omega Kids is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy for children with autism and related developmental disabilities in Staten Island, New York.
nWe are seeking reliable, motivated professionals who are comfortable working independently in family homes while receiving consistent supervision from a BCBA.
nSchedule
nnPart-time
nMinimum 15 hours per week required
nCases available between 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM - need more afternoon availability.
nDaytime and afternoon cases available
nConsistent weekly assignments
n nCompensation
n$20 – $35 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
nWhat You’ll Do
nnProvide 1:1 ABA therapy in the child’s home
nImplement treatment plans designed by a BCBA
nCollect and record session data using a mobile device
nWrite clear, accurate session notes
nSupport development of communication, behavior regulation, and daily living skills
nMaintain professionalism with families and caregivers
n nTraining is available for candidates new to ABA.
nn40-hour RBT training program
nComprehensive competency assessment
nOngoing supervision and mentorship from experienced BCBAs
nHands-on clinical experience with individualized client programs
nOpportunities for growth and advancement within the field of ABA
n nRequirements
nnReliable transportation (required)
nAccess to a mobile device for documentation
nHigh school diploma (required)
nMinimum 6 months of ABA or related experience preferred
nExperience working with children strongly preferred
nMust pass background screening
nAble to engage in physical activity including kneeling, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
nWillingness to accept supervision and feedback
nReliable schedule

nRBT certification is strongly preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to obtain certification if not already credentialed.
