TITLE: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
nLOCATION: Oak Lawn, IL & Surrounding Region
nGENERAL DESCRIPTION:
nLooking for meaningful work while gaining valuable hands-on experience in psychology, education, or child development? Join Instructional ABA Consultants (IABA) as a Behavior Technician and make a real impact in the lives of autistic children.
nIn this role, you'll work 1:1 with children using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help build communication, social, and daily living skills. No ABA experience is required -we provide all the training you need to get started and grow in the field.
nPAY AND TRAINING:
nn$19-$21/hr for client sessions and office work once RBT certified
n$17 hourly for training, modules, office work, and client sessions (pre-certification)
n$150 Sign-On Bonus after 3 months
n nWHAT YOU WILL DO:
nnWork 1:1 with children using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help build communication, social, and daily living skills
nImplement individualized therapy plans created by a BCBA supervisor
nCollect data related to the goals and behavior plans
nDevelop play skills with autistic children, silliness is a must!
nFile data and clinical documentation electronically within a 24 hour timeframe
nAttend mandatory trainings conducted by Instructional ABA Consultants
nProactively communicate with Behavior Analyst
nPipeline for promotion to Community Support Workers beyond RBT Certification
nJoin your team for outings and team building activities
nMaintain confidentiality, ethical guidelines, policies including HIPAA laws and regulations
n nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
nnHigh school diploma or equivalent education
nA minimum of 6 months of experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, volunteering, etc.)
nInterest in psychology, education, or related fields
nCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
nValid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
n nSCHEDULE:
nnPart-time and full-time positions available
nDaytime, evening (3:00–7:30 PM), and weekend shifts
nMinimum availability requirements: 3 weekday evenings and 1 weekend day
