Behavior Technician / RBT Role In ABA Therapy
At Kind Behavioral Health, you'll work in a team-oriented, clinic-based environment with lower BCBA caseloads, giving you more access to guidance, coaching, and real-time support. With over 20 years of experience serving children and families in North Carolina, we bring a proven, well-established ABA therapy model to every clinic, now expanding into Georgia.
Compensation & Benefits
$18.00–$24.00/hour depending on experience and RBT certification level

What You'll Do
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
Implement behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Collect and record data on client progress during sessions
Interact with clients and caregivers throughout sessions
Create engaging, fun, and motivating learning environments for children
Collaborate daily with your clinical team
Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Monday to Friday schedule
No weekends required
Full-time roles: consistent shift options: 8:00am–3:30pm, 11:00am–6:30pm
Part-time roles: flexible scheduling based on availability and clinic needs
Services delivered across clinic, home, and community settings, with strong clinic-based support

Four-level RBT career path with structured opportunities for growth, promotion, and increased earnings
Clear progression from Behavior Technician → Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) → Senior RBT → Lead RBT
Promotional opportunities reviewed twice per year based on demonstrated skill and competency growth
Structured Fieldwork Program with 1:1 BCBA mentorship
Up to $15,000 incentive opportunity tied to successful completion of the Fieldwork Program and BCBA readiness milestones

Qualifications
RBT certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days – paid training provided)
Experience working with children in structured or caregiving settings required (ABA, childcare, education, or related fields)
Ability to think on your feet, stay engaged, and create a positive, interactive environment for children
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Reliable transportation
This is an active, hands-on role. You'll spend time on your feet, on the floor, and actively engaging with children throughout the day. You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and responding quickly to movement as needed.
